Tax-Deductibility
Wilder Frets: Classical Guitar in the Wilderness is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts service organization. All contributions made payable to “Fractured Atlas” for the charitable purposes of Wilder Frets: Classical Guitar in the Wilderness are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors receive an automatic tax receipt immediately after giving.

With a national infrastructure and an artist-informed, distributed team, Fractured Atlas–sponsored projects raised $45 million in the past year and $310 million to date. Through its fiscal sponsorship program, Fractured Atlas provides Wilder Frets with tax-deductible donation processing, financial oversight and compliance, grant eligibility, donor receipting and privacy protection, and fundraising technology designed specifically for artists. This partnership allows Wilder Frets to focus fully on delivering its mission while operating with trusted nonprofit accountability.

How are donations processed?
Wilder Frets operates as a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts service organization. All donations are processed securely through Fractured Atlas, which provides administrative oversight, compliance, and donor receipts.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Because Wilder Frets is fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas, contributions are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors receive an automatic tax receipt immediately after giving.
Where does my donation go?

How do I make a donation?

How do you measure outcomes and impact?
We track both quantitative and qualitative impact, including:

How long has your organization existed?
Wilder Frets was founded in 2025 by Oregonian classical guitarist and Artistic Director Tye Austin, M.M. Our inaugural full concert season launches in June, 2026 with 50+ outdoor performances across the Pacific Northwest.
Who leads Wilder Frets?
The organization is artistically led by Tye Austin, an internationally acclaimed virtuoso guitarist and composer. Wilder Frets is supported by advisors in arts education, ecology, Indigenous cultural consultation, sound engineering, and non-profit development.
